Hi All
I am starting, after years of anonymous blogging, I am making my debut to the larger world. In doing so, I wish to bring together my seemingly disparate interests into one discussion. First, let me introduce myself.
I have, for the last ten years or so, straddled both the business and academic worlds, focusing in the former on end-user training development and delivery and in the latter in distance learning. To be more specific, I spend my days consulting on SAP training projects (which have taken me all over the country) and my evenings/weekends instructing online courses. In both, I have had many different employers as well as many different challenges, leaving me uniquely experienced in a wide manner of content delivery.
In a nutshell, that is what I do–deliver content to, one would hope, eager minds. But, the reality is that not every mind, whether in the labor force or in a class, is eager. If anything, content has the added challenge of relevency and engagement. Capture and Captivate.
This blog will assemble all manner of content delivery-related items–both commercial and academic–as a clearing house for exploration. One world learning to teach from the other…
